Fabulous guided sauna experience. I’ve been to other similar saunas, but this was a step above with the incorporation of some breathwork and meditation. Nice to have bins for personal items and a changing tent as well. Plus what a stunning spot of Lake Wanaka to dip in between sessions! Loved every bit of it.” - Ariana

Guided Sauna Session Using A Sauna Fan To Distribute The Heat From The Steam

Guided Session

80-90°c

70 MIN

MAX 15

NATURE

  • Be guided through three 12 to 15-minute rounds of sauna by an instructor. There is a break between each round if you want to dip in the lake, and the session lasts for an hour. The Guided experience is the recommended option if this is your first sauna or if you like to get the most out of each session.

Most people find they enjoy the guidance of an instructor while they sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey. Your session will include aufguss/steam and music, essential oils, connection to breath, and meditation - depending on your instructor and the day!

  • Casual Drop-In:
    $32 per session*

    Concession Options:
    5 pass: $23 per session
    10 pass: $18.50 per session

*Aren’t sure? If you switch to a concession pass after your first casual session, we will credit your account $32 towards your multi-pass.

    • It’s very important to arrive on time - 5-10 mins early is best so you can get signed in and showered. Please factor in getting to the location and parking. The rounds are done as a group

    • No towel, no sauna, you sweaty thing! Bring one for the sauna and one for afterward. We have spares available for purchase for those forgotten towel emergencies.

    • Drink lots of water before, during, and after your sauna

    • Try not to eat at least 2 hours before (kind of like going to the gym)

    • Be guided by your instructor, listen to your body

    • Towel or bathing suit required

    • A sauna hat keeps your head cooler and helps your body tolerate the heat better. Your instructor will be wearing one - they are extraordinarily stylish and recommended if you will be in the sauna regularly

    • We are a mobile sauna in the wild, not a luxury spa. Bring your sense of adventure and channel that inner Wim Hof. Expect raw nature, weather, cold & hot temps, and bare ground.

    • If you want to see the mountains, remember it’s dark in winter by 5 pm. Book those earlier sessions for the view

    • Sauna etiquette: shower before entering, and use a towel.

    • Please read the waiver when booking

NATURE

  • Enjoy three 15-minute rounds of sauna with a more self-guided approach. The aufguss/steam is community-led. Do some cold immersion in the lake or socialise between the rounds. Self Guided Sessions are either silent or social to cater to your needs that day. Please book a social session if you you like to chat inside the sauna rounds.

    * First sauna? Feel free to book this experience but the Guided Session might help. These sessions focus on relaxation and wellness. You can book a private or social session if you want a social experience.

    • Drink lots of water before, during, and after

    • Listen to your body. The top seats are the hottest, try the bottom for a more mellow sauna experience temperature-wise or if this is your first sauna.

    • Please ask everyone in the sauna before pouring any water to create the aufguss/steam
